Patrick Bateman Checks CRT Geometry

Text on the meme

Impressive flat CRT, very nice. Now let's see the geometry.

What it means

Patrick Bateman from American Psycho admires a flat CRT television before inspecting its geometry. The joke is that the supposedly impressive screen has visibly warped, uneven geometry, so this reaction is used when something looks good at first but fails under closer inspection.
