Built House Instead of Garage

Man who built house instead of garage finally relents after six-year battle >Housing shortage >Government does fuck all >Build your own house >Government does everything they can to stop you Why are they so good at doing the things nobody ever asked them to do? Why does bureaucracy work like that?

A screenshot shows a small brick house in Birmingham with a headline about a man who built it instead of a garage and then relented after a six-year battle. The added commentary jokes that the government ignores a housing shortage but aggressively obstructs someone who solves the problem himself, mocking pointless bureaucracy.
