NYC Zero Shootings on July 4th

NEWS NYC RECORDS ZERO SH**TINGS AND M*RDERS ON JULY 4TH FOR THE TIME IN HISTORY

A nighttime photo of the New York City skyline, including One World Trade Center, is presented like a news report claiming that NYC recorded zero shootings and murders on July 4th for the first time in history. The joke is the shocking, almost unbelievable contrast between a major city’s reputation for violence and the unusually peaceful holiday statistic, making it useful as an ironic reaction to unexpectedly good news.
