What Moms Thought The Beatles Sounded Like
THE BEATLES
A black-and-white clip shows The Beatles performing on a television stage in matching suits, playing guitars and drums while an audience member smiles excitedly. The cheerful vintage performance is paired with the aggressive music “Caved In” by Shagohod, creating the joke that mothers in 1964 imagined The Beatles sounded like extreme modern metal. It works as a reaction to generational misunderstanding of rock music.
