Next.js Kernel Button
BREAKING: next.js 27 will allow kernel interfacing at the component-level <button onClick={() => { #include <linux/reboot.h> #include <unistd.h> #include <sys/reboot.h> int main() { sync(); reboot(LINUX_REBOOT_CMD_POWER_OFF); return 0; } }} > Click me </button> Before After
A developer presents a supposed Next.js feature where a button directly interfaces with the Linux kernel. The joke is that clicking the button would power off the computer, parodying dangerous low-level access in a frontend framework. It is used as a reaction to absurd software updates, reckless code, or overly powerful UI features.
