Interview Math Question Panic
my interview was going well until interviewer asked me: how much is (0.1 + 0.2) * 10
A nervous-looking uniformed man raises his hand in front of a mirror or reflective surface. The joke is that a simple arithmetic question derails the interview because the decimal calculation evokes floating-point precision problems in programming, where 0.1 + 0.2 may not equal exactly 0.3.
