Kermit in the Gulag Documentary
Mr. Nobody Against Putin (2025) depicts a gulag using a screenshot from Muppets Most Wanted (2014), featuring Kermit the Frog in frame. This movie just won the Oscar for Best Documentary. GULAG Father of the Gulag system.
A fake BBC-style screenshot shows a snowy gulag entrance with prisoners, falsely claiming that the film Mr. Nobody Against Putin depicts a gulag using a scene from Muppets Most Wanted featuring Kermit the Frog and has won an Oscar for Best Documentary. The joke is absurd political satire, combining a serious-looking documentary claim with an obviously fabricated connection to the Muppets and a misleading historical caption. It is shared as a reaction to absurd propaganda, misinformation, or blatantly false claims.
