I met a 10x engineer today So I thought I was smart at a unicorn startup then I came to Google and realized there are many capable engineers who think fast. I thought they were 10x engineers. Then today I came across an L7 engineer and saw how this guy debugs performance issue and goes down to garbage collection level in Java and finally fixes so many inefficiencies in some code pipelines in 2 hours. Watched the whole thing next to him and boy I was wrong. None of the engineers I have met in life were 10x. This guy is the truly 10x engineer

What it means
