Ricing on Terrible Hardware
I love when people post setups of their insanely elaborate GNU/Linux rice with a twm and fancy prompt and all and their specs are some ass-old i3 and a GeForce 210 with 3 GB of RAM then again if you have good specs chances are you're actually getting work done on your computer which is in inherent conflict with ricing
A dark-mode social media screenshot shows a user praising elaborate GNU/Linux desktop setups running on extremely outdated hardware, followed by a reply pointing out that powerful hardware might be used for actual work instead of endless customization. The joke is that “ricing” a desktop environment is treated as inherently opposed to productivity, while obsolete specifications become a badge of honor.
