The DevOps Interview From Hell
go to interview >so do you have cloud experience >what clouds <bunch of cloud questions> >do you have kubernetes and container experience >bunch of related questions >do you have terraform experience >do you have Ansible experience >bunch of Linux troubleshooting questions >storage questions >VMware questions >programming questions >pay is 110,000 and oncall duties This shit can’t sustain. There’s no way someone can be skilled in like 80 things to effectively utilize them. Hey do you know how to use gorglethorpe in your schmegeldorp to create a blabber? Tech has become just skitzophrenia and buzzwords. They say everything is more efficient but you now just have a bunch of pajets and turd heads hot gluing crap to infrastructure and doing the needful.
A frustrated job candidate describes an absurd DevOps interview packed with questions about cloud platforms, Kubernetes, containers, Terraform, Ansible, Linux, storage, VMware, and programming, followed by a low salary and on-call duties. The punchline is that modern tech jobs demand expertise in an impossibly huge list of tools, often reduced to meaningless buzzwords and hastily glued-together infrastructure. It is shared as a reaction to overblown job requirements and unrealistic IT interviews.
