Overengineered Software Project
Not saying what project, but there's a dude who has a very underwhelming and extraordinarily over engineered software project and pops into threads all over the place to connect some thin thread from the topic at hand to a four paragraph comment about how his project is marginally related to the topic. I am annoyed
A social media post describes an irritating person who repeatedly inserts long comments connecting unrelated discussions to an overengineered software project. The joke is the exaggerated frustration with someone forcing tenuous relevance into every thread, and it is shared as a reaction to persistent unsolicited explanations or derailments.
