Urgent Need for Concept Art

Are we, artists and illustrators, fucked? (a thread) Received a call this morning from an advertising company. We used to work together a lot during the last few years, but rather rarely lately. Anyway, they were in an urgent need for a quick concept art. The guy on the phone plainly said that their in house AI technician was too busy, and they therefore had no choice but to find an artist. It is the first time I can see a concrete effect of those AI generative software packages on the available jobs. Today, I'm really starting to think I need an emergency plan. And quickly.
