AI-generated Drake and Weeknd song goes viral Music bosses warn of ‘calamity’

What it means

An AI-generated-looking image shows Drake and The Weeknd standing close together under purple-pink lighting, with a mock news headline claiming their song has gone viral and that music bosses warn of “calamity.” The joke parodies sensational news coverage of AI music and treats the imagined collaboration as an industry-threatening disaster. Goose’s “Synrise” plays throughout, adding a dramatic electronic soundtrack that makes the fake headline feel absurdly serious.
