Teaching a Fish Stick Shift

Text on the meme

Me teaching my fish how to drive stick shift (he's a slow learner)

What it means

A person underwater tries to teach a fish how to operate the manual gear shift of a sunken car, repeatedly gesturing toward the controls as the fish swims around. The joke comes from treating a fish like a human student and blaming its inability to drive on being a slow learner. The clip is set to Feyago & Sukanya — “Greatest,” whose upbeat music makes the absurd lesson feel dramatically serious and playful.
