Kitten Becomes His New Best Friend

i guess we’re homies now? stay tuned

A montage follows a man bonding with a tiny gray kitten: he finds or holds it in different places, carries it in the car, lets it sit on the dashboard, cuddles and kisses it, and finally plays with it at home. The caption frames the escalating relationship as an uncertain but increasingly affectionate friendship, while Pinegrove’s indie-rock song “Namesake” gives the sequence a wistful, heartfelt mood and makes the ordinary kitten clips feel like a sentimental coming-of-age montage.
