Death Note Under Epstein Billboard

Text on the meme

EPSTEIN BREAKING NEWS House Oversight Committee releases Epstein files エプスタイン被告(2019年) 23日、NYの刑務所で自殺か DEATH NOTE

What it means

A young man in a brown coat walks through a rainy city intersection carrying a black DEATH NOTE tote bag, while a huge billboard above him reports breaking news about Jeffrey Epstein. The darkly absurd juxtaposition makes the scene look like a Death Note character is passing beneath news about Epstein’s death, so the image works as a bleak reaction to conspiracy, scandal, or unsettling current events.

Jeffrey Epstein (Джеффри Эпштейн)
