Recycling Event Full of TVs

I went to hell today. Recycling event- nothing can be taken, as it's property of the recycler. I was able to talk the guy into letting a couple small sets go, but nothing computer related nor "big" in size. Apparently the flat glass tvs are worth "ten cents a pound" to the recyclers. 😒 I did offer to buy stuff, they would not budge on kt. I get that it's their stuff to destroy if they want to, but it's such a waste when people pay good money for this stuff. It blows my mind. Probably 500+ tvs and monitors on this lot.
