A prehistoric shaman in elaborate antlered ritual clothing is contrasted with a modern person crying in distress. The joke is that the supposedly mentally ill prehistoric person had an important spiritual role and mystical experiences, while the modern person is overwhelmed by ordinary contemporary life. It is sent as an absurd reaction to feeling dramatically sad about mundane problems.
