Piracy As A Lifestyle
I've been pirating all my media for 20 years and I'll never stop. I was born in a poor family. Now I'm in the top 4–5% of earners in my country, so the "poorfag" argument doesn't cut it. All my friends are balls deep in streaming shit like Spotify and Netflix and always buy their vidya, but I'll never understand it. It takes me 5 seconds to find a magnet link for a game, movie or music album. I still use an mp3 player (SanDisk, of course) to this day. When you've pirated so much and for so long, it becomes a lifestyle.
A muscular pirate-like man is shown beside a long anonymous-board post about pirating media for twenty years. The writer rejects the idea that piracy is caused by poverty, contrasts torrenting with paid streaming services, and presents piracy as a permanent lifestyle and identity. It is shared as an ironic reaction to arguments about digital piracy, frugality, and refusing modern subscriptions.
