Frontend Developer Laughs at Backend

Frontend developer Backend developer Frontend developer

A video contrasts a cheerful, laughing frontend developer with a grim masked backend developer, then returns to the frontend developer laughing and looking knowingly at the camera. Set to Vanessa Carlton’s pop song “A Thousand Miles,” the upbeat music makes the joke feel dramatically overjoyed: the frontend developer is amused by how intimidating or difficult backend work appears. It works as a reaction meme about frontend-versus-backend stereotypes among programmers.
