Peter Parker Protects Gwen Stacy
Peter Parker: ‘I’ll always protect you Gwen Stacey:
A meme shows the text “Peter Parker: ‘I’ll always protect you” followed by “Gwen Stacey:” and a photo of a woman awkwardly falling headfirst onto the floor. The joke references Spider-Man’s promise to protect Gwen Stacy, contrasted with an obviously unsuccessful and chaotic attempt at protection. It is used as a reaction to promises that backfire or situations that go disastrously wrong.
