Software Design Has Lost Its Way
Whatever happened to software — with design and engineering caring about how it works? You open doordash on a phone with a hundred times more processing power than this computer and it makes you stare at a stupid logo animation and loading screens for half a minute.
A screenshot-style post criticizes modern software for being slow and poorly designed despite powerful hardware. The joke is that a phone with vastly more processing power still makes users wait through pointless animations and loading screens when opening DoorDash, while older software felt more efficient.
