Serious BIOS Virus Warning
SERIOUS WARNING DO INSTALL THE ATTACHED PC-cillin-98 ANTI-VIRUS PROGRAM TO AVOID CIH VIRUS. WARRANTY IS INVALID IF BIOS IS DAMAGED BY CIH VIRUS.
A close-up photo of an old computer motherboard with a circular warning sticker instructing the user to install PC-cillin-98 antivirus to avoid the CIH virus, threatening that the warranty is void if the BIOS is damaged. The joke comes from the absurdly serious, outdated warning placed directly on ordinary hardware, evoking retro computer anxiety and obsolete antivirus software.
