I HEARD THAT YOU SWITCHED TO FIREFOX

What it means

Rei Ayanami and Asuka Langley from Neon Genesis Evangelion are kissing in a school uniform-themed scene. The joke treats switching web browsers as a betrayal serious enough to provoke an intimate reaction, using exaggerated anime romance and the Firefox-versus-browser-choice reference as the punchline.
