What it means

A photographed GitHub profile settings screen shows the pronouns dropdown open with “Don't specify” selected, alongside profile and contribution sections. The joke, reinforced by the uploader’s caption “Github has gone woke,” mocks GitHub for offering inclusive pronoun options as an example of perceived corporate “wokeness.” People send it as a sarcastic reaction to discussions about pronouns, diversity policies, or progressive changes on tech platforms.
