Waiting for the Egg Boiler Update

Text on the meme

I want to boil some eggs for breakfast. But this is the year 2023, so I have to wait for a software update first. UPDATE PROGRESS Do not unplug device ~ 10-15 min

What it means

A kitchen appliance with a touchscreen is displaying a software update while someone wants to boil eggs for breakfast. The joke treats a smart cooker like a computer that must install updates before performing a simple task, poking fun at overcomplicated modern technology.
