Discord Raises File Size Limit
NSA upping the data collection unit cap → AI companies investing in data harvesters Wow Discord is great. Finally people without Nitro can post their old files that were above the file limit hey @/everyone we're upping the file size limit from 8MB to 25MB. hazzzzzzzahhhhhhhhh! @everyone the big file incoming this_zip_file_is_25MB.zip 25 MB
A meme shows the NSA passing a data-collection limit increase to AI companies, depicted as a data harvester, before Discord announces that its file-size limit has increased from 8MB to 25MB. The joke compares Discord’s modest feature update with mass data harvesting and celebrates free users finally being able to upload oversized files. It is used as a sarcastic reaction to platform updates that seem helpful but have an unsettling corporate or surveillance angle.
