It’s Not Going To Get Any Better

It's Not Going To Get Any Better When You Grow Up by Drew Bledsoe >more computing power than ever before >worse performance than ever before remember when you were a little kid and thought everything was going to get better over time

A sad-looking child stands on a grassy field beneath a book-style caption saying that growing up will not make things better. The joke compares increasing computing power with worsening performance, then nostalgically contrasts childhood optimism with adult disappointment. It is used as a reaction to declining technology, worsening life circumstances, or general pessimism.
