Flying Cars in 2023
1982: “There will be flying cars in the future.” 2023: Hungry? I can help
A tipped-over food delivery robot lies on a wet pavement beside parked cars. The joke contrasts an optimistic 1982 prediction about flying cars with the disappointing reality of 2023 technology, represented by a delivery robot that cannot even stay upright. It is used as a sarcastic reaction to failed futurism and underwhelming progress. EN: A tipped-over food delivery robot lies on a wet pavement beside parked cars.
