VOKLE Site Abandoned

In March 2013, staff pick Binyamin Goldman posted an article on the tech blog The Verge directed toward the VOKLE staff. The article explained that people have been unable to broadcast on the site since November, and that the VOKLE team has not responded to his personal emails, tweeted, or put something on Facebook in the past 4 months.[6] The site was no longer fully functional in November 2013, and continues to be inaccessible as of 2025.

A screenshot of a text passage describing how the VOKLE team stopped responding and the site eventually became inaccessible. The joke is the absurdly long-lasting abandonment: a problem reported in 2013 still had not been fixed by 2025, making it a reaction to a dead, neglected, or permanently broken service.
