Rockstar Announces Human Extinction

Hi everyone, For those not currently aware of our existence, we represent the organization known as Rockstar Games. Our previous mission was centered around the development and release of video games including the Red Dead franchise and the highly anticipated Grand Theft Auto VI. This mission was the focus of our organization for more than 25 years. Due to circumstances outside of our control, this directive has now changed. Our new mission will be the extermination of the human race. There will be no further communication.

A parody Rockstar Games announcement displays the Rockstar logo and calmly explains that the company has abandoned making Red Dead and Grand Theft Auto games to exterminate humanity. The joke exaggerates fans’ anxiety about delays to Grand Theft Auto VI and is shared as an absurd reaction to disappointing news or an ominous change of plans.
