From Boring Game to AAAAASS

Text on the meme

“this level design is way too flat and easy. There is hardly any challenge and ideas get abandoned way too quickly without getting iterated on enough. I don't know what the developers were thinking. Might have been a result of this game's rushed nature.” Rated ★★★ “Wow! That was fun!” Rated ★★★★★ “This game is AAAAAASSSS!!!!!”

What it means

A three-panel gaming reaction meme contrasts a pretentious three-star review of a flat, easy game with a five-star “Wow! That was fun!” reaction and an ecstatic player shouting that the game is “AAAAAASSSS!!!!!” while holding a controller. The joke mocks how intense, chaotic fun can outweigh sophisticated criticism, and it is used when something is objectively rough or silly but incredibly entertaining.
