Free Thinkers See Paid Thinkers

Text on the meme

free thinkers when paid thinkers show up

What it means

A blurry close-up shows a confused-looking blond man turning his head. The joke mocks people who call themselves independent thinkers when they encounter someone who is professionally paid to promote an opinion. It is used as a sarcastic reaction to conspiracy theorists or performative contrarians.
