Bomb Disposal Perspective

I asked an EOD guy once about the stress of bomb defusing. He shrugged & said “It’s not. I’m either right, or suddenly it’s not my problem any more.” I try to stick to that perspective.

A screenshot of a social media post tells a darkly humorous story about an explosive ordnance disposal worker who says bomb defusing is not stressful because the outcome is either success or instant irrelevance. The narrator adopts this fatalistic perspective as a reaction to everyday problems.
