Ursula K. Le Guin on Dubstep

We live in capitalism, its power seems inescapable - but then, so did the popularity of dubstep. For awhile it was like, you can’t go anywhere without hearing the stuff, and now it’s like, “Skillex who?” I dunno maybe people are still into it. I shouldn’t talk shit. Always getting my dumb ass in trouble talking shit. Anyway if you know any cool new dubstep hit me up in the DMs. — Ursula K. Le Guin —

A portrait of Ursula K. Le Guin is paired with a faux quote about capitalism, dubstep’s rise and decline, and asking for recommendations in DMs. The joke is the absurd anachronism and deliberately casual internet slang attributed to the famous author, making it useful as a reaction to pretentious or obviously fabricated quotes.
