What it means

A smiling red-haired person labeled “Me” is hugged and licked by a person dressed in black, labeled with post-punk, gothic rock, deathrock, and dark wave. The joke portrays intense affection for dark music subgenres, as if they were an overwhelming, clingy person. It is used as a reaction to express enthusiasm for alternative music and goth culture.
