Getting Shot In-Game vs Cutscene
getting shot in-game Getting shot in a cut scene
A gray-haired man wearing sunglasses gives a thumbs-up while being shot in-game, but doubles over in pain when getting shot in a cutscene. The joke contrasts the emotionally detached way players treat gameplay damage with the seriousness of scripted cinematic moments, making it useful as a reaction to inconsistent attitudes toward the same event.
