Drawing Cute Things to Escape

Text on the meme

I draw cute things to escape from reality.

What it means

A cheerful anime-style girl in a sailor uniform smiles while surrounded by colorful doodles and pastel shapes. The joke is the contrast between the cute, happy artwork and the implication that drawing is a way to avoid real-life problems. People send this as a reaction when using creativity or hobbies to cope with reality.
