Orange Cat Loses His Last Brain Cell

Text on the meme

What it means

Three cats sit together while a tabby cat repeatedly licks the head of the white-and-gray cat behind an orange cat. The orange cat’s relaxed expression turns into a wide-eyed, open-mouthed look of sudden confusion, making it a reaction to a moment when someone’s last thought disappears. Koji Kondo’s “File Select,” a gentle, game-like Nintendo soundtrack, adds an innocent and absurd contrast that makes the brain-cell joke funnier.
