Salamanders With Eldar Children

Text on the meme

Salamanders with human children Salamanders with Eldar children

What it means

A two-panel meme contrasts a cheerful Thomas the Tank Engine image labeled “Salamanders with human children” with a horrifying grimdark image labeled “Salamanders with Eldar children.” The joke references the Warhammer 40,000 faction Salamanders and their kindness toward humans versus the setting’s hostility toward Eldar, making it a reaction to extreme fictional prejudice or grimdark irony.
