Mom Misreads the Baby Blanket
Hey Mom, why'd you go with this design for little Jimmy's baby blanket? We all call him Little Bear so I googled Bear patterns and I thought these colors were just too cute!
A text-message exchange shows a colorful knitted baby blanket with horizontal brown, orange, yellow, white, gray, and black stripes and a small bear-like drawing. The mother says she chose the design after googling bear patterns, unaware that the colors resemble the pride flag, creating an awkward misunderstanding. It is sent as an ironic reaction to accidental symbolism and clueless explanations.
