Fancy Objects Instead of Plates

I forgot that we Italians love scamming tourists by replacing plates with 'fancy' objects I thought I knew what tiramisu is. Then I had tiramisu in Rome. My life has changed. I am a new human.

A screenshot of a social media post shows tiramisu served in unusual metal objects instead of ordinary plates, including what appears to be a small moka pot and a hinged metal container. The joke is that Italian presentation is so fancy and unconventional that tourists feel transformed after eating authentic tiramisu in Rome.
