College Life Is So Exciting

“College life is so fun and exciting!” My College Life:

A dark video shows a creepy, toothy puppet-like figure moving awkwardly in a shadowy setting, briefly bringing something toward its mouth. The upbeat cumbia villera song “Que Calor” by Supermerk2 clashes with the unsettling imagery, turning the contrast into a joke about college life being miserable, chaotic, and nothing like the cheerful promise. It works as a reaction to exhausting or disappointing student experiences.
