Propaganda Loudspeakers Go Full Blast

Text on the meme

PROPAGANDA BROADCASTS RESUMED S. Korea starts loudspeaker broadcasts on Friday

What it means

A news clip shows a barren border landscape, a person switching on broadcast equipment, the level meter reaching maximum, and rows of loudspeakers spinning into action. The serious report about South Korea resuming propaganda broadcasts is paired with Isaac Okwuibe’s “Naija Funny Comedy Sound Effects,” turning the escalating loudspeaker footage into an absurdly overdramatic reaction meme. It is used when something is being announced or amplified far beyond what the situation deserves.
