Irish Unification of 2024

A Star Trek character enthusiastically faces another person while the caption says he is looking forward to the Irish unification of 2024. The joke references Star Trek’s fictional future history and treats a politically charged prediction as an oddly specific thing to anticipate, making it a humorous reaction to expectations about the next year.
