Seat Thyself Within the Golem Shinji

SEAT THYSELF WITHIN THE GOLEM SHINJI

A medieval tapestry-style illustration shows a tiny person standing beside a giant armored golem, with another small figure and an animal nearby. The caption commands Shinji to seat himself inside the golem, parodying the dramatic command for Shinji to pilot Evangelion; it works as an absurd reaction to being forced into an overwhelming responsibility. The clip is accompanied by Frank Schröter’s medieval-style instrumental music, whose grand, archaic mood makes the joke feel like an epic legend.
