Squirtle Squad Hair Threat
In the English dub, the Squirtle Squad threatens to dye Misty's hair purple, while in the original Japanese version, they threaten to execute her. WE ARE GOING TO DYE YOUR HAIR PURPLE
The Squirtle Squad celebrates dramatically while threatening to dye Misty’s hair purple. The joke contrasts the harmless English-dub localization with the much darker original Japanese version, making it useful as an absurd reaction to exaggerated censorship or localization.
