Maybe Buried School Bus
THERE MAY OR MAY NOT BE A SCHOOL BUS BURIED HERE
A weathered stone marker lies in a patch of dirt and weeds, claiming that there may or may not be a school bus buried beneath it. The joke is the deliberately noncommittal wording, turning a gravestone-like sign into an absurd reaction to uncertainty. It is used when someone has no idea what happened or refuses to make a definite claim.
