Please Don't Tell Him
Please don't tell him. I need this job.
A cartoon worker sits on the ground holding a note that says, “Please don't tell him. I need this job.” The joke presents a desperate, secret plea to keep an employer or authority figure from learning something that could cost the character their job, making it useful as a reaction to workplace panic or covering up a mistake.
