CONFLICT IN LITERATURE CLASSICAL MODERN POSTMODERN MAN vs. NATURE MAN vs. SOCIETY MAN vs. TECHNOLOGY MAN vs. MAN MAN vs. SELF MAN vs. REALITY MAN vs. GOD MAN vs. NO GOD MAN vs. AUTHOR

A nine-panel meme presents different literary conflicts through humorous video stills, from a man fighting nature and society to a man confronting technology, reality, God, and the author. The joke is that abstract categories from literary analysis are illustrated with increasingly absurd and chaotic real-life scenes, making the academic classification feel like a dramatic meme reaction.
